- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Whisk until smooth and creamy (about 1-2 minutes).
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped strawberries and chocolate chips (if using).
- Prepare an 8×8 inch baking pan by greasing it lightly or lining it with parchment paper.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick; it should come out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let the brownies cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cool, cut into squares and dust with powdered sugar if desired. Serve and enjoy!
