This Sparkling Yuzu Lemonade is a refreshing blend of tangy yuzu and classic lemon, perfect for hot days or special occasions. - 1 cup fresh yuzu juice (about 4–5 yuzu fruits)
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4–5 lemons)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 cups sparkling water (chilled)
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)
- Yuzu slices (for garnish)
- Lemon slices (for garnish)
Instructions
- Wash the yuzu and lemons thoroughly under running water.
- Cut the yuzu fruits in half and juice them to yield about 1 cup of fresh yuzu juice.
- Cut the lemons in half and juice them until you have about 1 cup of fresh lemon juice. Strain to remove seeds and pulp.
- In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of granulated sugar with 1 cup of water.
- Heat over medium, stirring until the sugar dissolves (about 3-5 minutes). Remove from heat and let cool. Optionally, add mint leaves to the syrup while cooling.
- In a large pitcher, combine the fresh yuzu juice and fresh lemon juice.
- Add the cooled simple syrup and stir well.
- Slowly pour in the chilled sparkling water, stirring gently to combine.
- Fill tall glasses with ice cubes.
- Pour the sparkling yuzu lemonade over the ice, filling each glass about three-quarters full.
- Garnish with yuzu and lemon slices, and add fresh mint leaves on top. Optionally, add a sprig of mint for extra fragrance.

- Adjust sweetness by adding more simple syrup if desired.
- Ensure sparkling water is well-chilled for a refreshing drink.
