Scale
  • 1 package of cocktail sausages (about 14 ounces)
  • 1 package of refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 ounces)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds (optional)

  2. Open the package of crescent roll dough and unroll it onto a clean surface.
  3. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the dough if desired.
  4. Pat the cocktail sausages dry with a paper towel.

  6. Place a cocktail sausage on top of the cheese (if using) and roll the dough around the sausage, tucking in the sides.
  7. Place the wrapped sausage seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or sprayed with cooking spray.
  8. Repeat until all sausages are wrapped.
  9. Beat the egg in a small bowl to create an egg wash and brush it over each wrapped sausage.
