- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare Broccoli: Wash and thoroughly dry the broccoli florets. Cut into uniform florets.
- Make Parmesan Coating: In a large bowl, combine olive oil, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes (if using). Season with salt and pepper.
- Coat Broccoli: Toss the broccoli florets with the Parmesan mixture, ensuring every floret is evenly coated.
- Roast: Spread the broccoli florets in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Cook: Roast for 15-20 minutes, or until the broccoli is tender-crisp and the Parmesan cheese is golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through. If the cheese starts to brown too quickly, lower the oven temperature to 375°F (190°C) for the last few minutes.
- Serve: Remove from oven, let cool slightly. Squeeze lemon juice over the broccoli (optional). Serve immediately.
