- 1 package of graham crackers (about 14 full sheets)
- 1 cup of milk chocolate chips (or chocolate bars, broken into pieces)
- 2 cups of mini marshmallows
- 1/4 cup of unsalted butter (melted)
- 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract (optional)
- Cooking spray or parchment paper (for lining the baking dish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare a baking dish (9×13 inches is ideal) by lining it with parchment paper or lightly greasing it with cooking spray.
- Break the graham crackers into halves or quarters to cover the bottom of the baking dish.
- Arrange the graham cracker pieces in a single layer at the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Evenly sprinkle the milk chocolate chips (or chocolate pieces) over the layer of graham crackers.
- For a more decadent experience, add an extra layer of chocolate on top.
- Spread the mini marshmallows evenly over the chocolate layer, covering it completely.
- For a toasted flavor, consider using larger marshmallows cut in half.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, sea salt, and vanilla extract (if using). Mix well.
- Drizzle the butter mixture over the marshmallows.
- Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 10-15 minutes, watching for the marshmallows to puff up and turn golden brown.
- For a toasted marshmallow finish, switch to broil for the last 1-2 minutes, being cautious to avoid burning.
- Remove the baking dish from the oven and let it cool for about 10-15 minutes.
- Cut the s’mores into squares or rectangles using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
- Serve warm or at room temperature, optionally drizzling extra melted chocolate over the top.
