- 2 ripe bananas, frozen
- 1 cup of milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1 cup of brewed coffee, cooled
- 1/2 cup of vanilla ice cream
- 1/4 cup of caramel sauce, plus extra for drizzling
- 1 tablespoon of sugar (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- Whipped cream, for topping
- Chocolate shavings or crushed nuts, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Choose two ripe bananas, peel, slice into chunks, and freeze in a zip-top bag for at least 2 hours.
- Brew a cup of your favorite coffee and let it cool to room temperature.
- Measure out the milk, vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, sugar, and vanilla extract.
- In a blender, add frozen banana chunks, cooled coffee, milk, vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, and vanilla extract. Add sugar if desired.
- Blend on high speed for 30-60 seconds until smooth. Add more milk if too thick.
- Adjust thickness by adding more milk or frozen banana chunks as needed.
- Drizzle caramel sauce inside two tall glasses.
- Pour the blended frappuccino into the prepared glasses, leaving space for whipped cream.
- Top each frappuccino generously with whipped cream.
- Sprinkle with chocolate shavings or crushed nuts and drizzle more caramel sauce on top.
- Enjoy with a straw or spoon, best served fresh.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer and blend again before serving.
- Double or triple the ingredients for larger batches.
- Try adding peanut butter or cinnamon for different flavor variations.
