  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, and milk. Stir until well combined.
  3. Add in the shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, and black pepper. Mix until the chicken is well coated.
  4. Open the can of refrigerated biscuit dough, separate the biscuits, and cut each into quarters.
  5. Melt the butter and toss the biscuit pieces in the melted butter until well coated.
  6. In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, pour the chicken mixture evenly across the bottom.
  7. Scatter the butter-coated biscuit pieces over the top of the chicken mixture.
  8. (Optional) Sprinkle more shredded cheddar cheese on top of the biscuit pieces.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
  10. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley.
