- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, and milk. Stir until well combined.
- Add in the shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, and black pepper. Mix until the chicken is well coated.
- Open the can of refrigerated biscuit dough, separate the biscuits, and cut each into quarters.
- Melt the butter and toss the biscuit pieces in the melted butter until well coated.
- In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, pour the chicken mixture evenly across the bottom.
- Scatter the butter-coated biscuit pieces over the top of the chicken mixture.
- (Optional) Sprinkle more shredded cheddar cheese on top of the biscuit pieces.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
- Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley.
