Fun, customizable campfire cones filled with chocolate, marshmallows, nuts, and more! A delicious and easy treat perfect for camping or backyard gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box (12-16 count) waffle cones
  • 1 bag (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 bag (10 oz) mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts, or almonds work well)
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips
  • Aluminum foil

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace: Lay out a large sheet of aluminum foil on a flat surface.
  2. Melt the chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between. Alternatively, melt using a double boiler.
  3. Coat the inside of the cones: Spread a thin layer of melted chocolate inside each waffle cone.
  4. Let the chocolate set: Place the chocolate-coated cones upside down on a wire rack or parchment paper for 10-15 minutes, until firm.
  5. Layer the ingredients: Add mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, nuts, coconut, dried cranberries, butterscotch chips, and peanut butter chips in layers to each cone. Repeat layers if desired.
  6. Wrap each cone individually: Wrap each filled cone tightly in aluminum foil, leaving a small opening at the top.
  7. Campfire Cooking: Place cones on a grill grate over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, rotating frequently.
  8. Oven Cooking: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place wrapped cones on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes.
  9. Grill Cooking: Preheat grill to medium heat. Place wrapped cones on the grill grate and cook for 5-7 minutes, rotating frequently.
  10. Let cool slightly: Carefully remove the cones from the heat and let them cool slightly before unwrapping.
  11. Unwrap and enjoy: Unwrap the foil and enjoy your delicious campfire cones!
