Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup fresh apple juice
- 1/2 cup sparkling water or club soda
- 1/4 cup lime juice (freshly squeezed is best)
- 2 tablespoons agave syrup (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Ice cubes
- Apple slices, for garnish
- Lime wedges, for garnish
- Salt or sugar, for rimming the glasses (optional)
Instructions
- Wash fresh apples thoroughly, cut them into quarters, and remove the seeds. Use a juicer or blend the pieces and strain through a fine mesh sieve to extract 1 cup of fresh apple juice.
- Roll fresh limes on the countertop to release juice, cut in half, and squeeze out 1/4 cup of lime juice using a citrus juicer or your hands. Set aside.
- If desired, rim glasses with salt or sugar by running a lime wedge around the rim and dipping it into a plate of salt or sugar.
- In a large pitcher, mix the fresh apple juice and lime juice. Stir well.
- Add agave syrup to the juice mixture, stirring until fully dissolved. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
- Sprinkle in ground cinnamon and stir again to combine.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, or proceed to the next step if serving immediately.
- Just before serving, add sparkling water or club soda to the pitcher and stir gently to combine.
- Fill each prepared glass with ice cubes and pour the apple-lime mixture over the ice, filling about three-quarters full.
- Garnish each glass with a slice of apple and a lime wedge. Optionally, sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon on top.
- Float any leftover apple slices in the drink for added visual appeal.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing Apple Margarita Mocktail with friends or family.
