Instructions

  1. Wash fresh apples thoroughly, cut them into quarters, and remove the seeds. Use a juicer or blend the pieces and strain through a fine mesh sieve to extract 1 cup of fresh apple juice.
  2. Roll fresh limes on the countertop to release juice, cut in half, and squeeze out 1/4 cup of lime juice using a citrus juicer or your hands. Set aside.
  3. If desired, rim glasses with salt or sugar by running a lime wedge around the rim and dipping it into a plate of salt or sugar.
  4. In a large pitcher, mix the fresh apple juice and lime juice. Stir well.
  5. Add agave syrup to the juice mixture, stirring until fully dissolved. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
  6. Sprinkle in ground cinnamon and stir again to combine.
  7. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, or proceed to the next step if serving immediately.
  8. Just before serving, add sparkling water or club soda to the pitcher and stir gently to combine.
  9. Fill each prepared glass with ice cubes and pour the apple-lime mixture over the ice, filling about three-quarters full.
